When it comes to manifesting, the question we hear most often is: "Is manifesting hard?" The short answer is no. Human beings are natural manifestors, creating our realities non-stop, 24/7, 365 days a year. Everything in our lives—the circumstances we're in, the situations we encounter, and the physical things we possess—has been manifested by our consciousness, aided by the energy it emits and the actions we take.

However, this includes both the positive and the negative aspects of our lives. This happens because the different levels of our consciousness are often unfocused and misaligned. You might consciously desire something, but your subconscious mind might hold beliefs that block you. For instance, your subconscious might believe you lack the resources—whether it's money or knowledge—to achieve your goal.

Aligning Consciousness for Effective Manifestation

To manifest effectively, we need to align the different levels of our consciousness with what we want. Over the next two weeks, we'll explore various strategies to achieve this alignment. At Mindful Mastery Academy, we use the DREAMS framework to help focus and align our minds towards our goals. Today, we'll introduce this framework briefly. What is the DREAMS Framework?

The DREAMS framework is an acronym for the essential elements needed to manifest successfully. While our manifesting course offers an in-depth exploration of these elements, understanding and applying them can significantly amplify your efforts. Let's go through them one by one. Don't worry if it seems overwhelming now—we'll cover each in detail in this video series, giving you the tools to manifest the life of your dreams.

D is for Desire:
Desire is the energetic pull towards what you want. While it's possible to manifest without a strong desire, truly connecting with and amplifying your desire can energise and direct your focus. This alignment of mental and emotional energy enhances your manifesting power. Studies show that a strong desire can improve focus and persistence, which are crucial for achieving goals (Locke & Latham, 2002).

R is for Release:
Many of us have been programmed with doubts, fears, or limiting beliefs. These beliefs can make us feel disempowered in designing our lives. Manifesting is more about letting go of these unhelpful beliefs than adding new techniques. We'll explore methods to release these beliefs, making manifesting effortless. Techniques like cognitive restructuring have been proven to help release limiting beliefs (Beck, 2011).

E is for Envision and Expect:
Envisioning and expecting our goals involves visualising and mentally rehearsing having what we want. This activates and rewires our brains to believe our goals are possible, creating a strong expectation and energetic pull towards our desires. Visualisation has been shown to enhance performance and goal achievement (Driskell, Copper, & Moran, 1994).

A is for Affirm and Allow:
Affirmations reinforce our belief in achieving our goals, helping us focus and triggering behaviours aligned with manifesting. Allowing things to happen rather than controlling every aspect is crucial. This combination of affirming and allowing fosters a conducive environment for manifesting. Research indicates that self-affirmation can improve problem-solving under stress (Creswell et al., 2013).

M is for Motivation and Mobilisation:
Motivation is vital for manifesting. Without it, we lose sight of our goals and become frustrated with the journey. Identifying what motivates us about our goals keeps us focused and driven. Mobilisation refers to taking actionable steps towards our goals, turning motivation into tangible progress. Self-determination theory highlights the importance of intrinsic motivation in achieving long-term goals (Deci & Ryan, 2000). Additionally, mobilisation transforms intention into action, making our desires a reality (Gollwitzer, 1999).

S is for Specific:
Being specific about what we want is essential. Humorous stories abound of people manifesting outcomes that weren't quite what they intended because they weren't specific enough. Specificity often comes after working through the other elements—desire, release, envision, expect, affirm, and motivate. Specific goals are more likely to be achieved (Locke & Latham, 1990).
